“Supporting our many kids from single-parent homes, I have the privilege to observe BGCB staff weave into the family unit by providing – homework help every day, hot, nutritious meals and snacks, and mentors to help kids navigate the hurdles and challenges they face each day. It is so meaningful to me, especially because I grew up in a single-parent household and realize first-hand what a difference it can make. I truly appreciate the folks who work in the Clubs, and I personify with the families we serve”. – Shari
