In the fall of 2002, the Boys & Girls Club of Eden opened its doors. In 2011, a group of people in the neighboring town of Evans wanted to do the same for their community. So, opening as a unit under the Eden club, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Shore was born, with its focus on the Lake Shore Central school district (which encompasses the towns of Evans & Brant and the villages of Angola & Farnham). Legally one organization, the clubs operated as two for many years. In 2017, it was determined we were far stronger together than apart, and the Boys & Girls Club of Eden-Lake Shore was created. We are two communities serving one great mission – to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
